2. PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA2 We are a “green school” (environmental school) We have been involved in a Catalan Government project for 4 years whose aim is to make our school friendlier and more self- aware of the enviromemnt.

4. PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA4 Paper, plastic and glass recycling. Our School Environmental Committee has placed selective collection containers in every classroom.

5. PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA5 Our goal is not only to collect paper, plastic and glass waste generated in the classrooms, labs and other facilities and throw them into the recycling containers, but to care for their maintenance as well.

6. PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA6 Can and battery collection We have placed can and battery containers in the school hall and playground with the Town Council support.

7. PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA7 school playground waste reduction campaign We`ve started a campaign in order to reduce waste in the playground obtaining excellent results.This chart shows the significant fall after this campaign.

9. PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA9 Waste collection generated by electricity and car industry courses. The waste generated in these courses, such as oil, scrap iron, exhaust pipes, batteries, etc, is collected in special containers and later collected and recycled by a specialized private firm
