7  What is a Class C felony?  (c) For a class C felony, by confinement in a state correctional institution for five years, or by a fine in an amount fixed by the court of ten thousand dollars, or by both such confinement and fine.  This means if you are convicted of sending nude pictures of a minor (yourself or anyone else), you could go to jail OR get fined thousands of dollars. You also have to register as a sex offender  You may think that what you’re sending and posting is private, but whatever goes on the Internet is permanent (yes, even Snapchat)  These “private” messages can land you in jail, cost you money, and can break relationships
