Timeline: Pilot Project Funding (Dave Karl) –Goal is to have pilot episode and corresponding classroom activities finalized by January 2010 NSF grant proposal submitted June 24, 2009 –For funding starting 2010 –Long term goal to offer PDCP course for episode and classroom curriculum development SEA-IT-LIVE
17
Timeline: Pilot Project –Pre-developed episode concept (overarching theme aimed to fit 6 th,7 th,and 8 th grade) –Teacher input on episode content and classroom activities (lab) fitting the theme Articulation days 1. Match standards to overarching theme 2. Teachers bring current activities for the above standards 3. Share current activities 4. Brainstorm and develop new or modified activities SEA-IT-LIVE
18
Timeline: Funded Project –3-4 Episodes per year These will be dictated by Teacher/Researcher collaboration –Ongoing Professional Development with PD credit possibility SEA-IT-LIVE
