Proverbs 3:1-2

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.

To protect and benefit mankind Genesis 1:28 -- God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

Deuteronomy 5:9-10, 33 -- You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing love to a thousand [ generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments. …Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

Deuteronomy 10:12-13 -- …fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

Numbers 15:38-40 … you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them …Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God.

Isaiah 48:17-18--This is what the LORD says…"I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Second five commandments: No murder No adultery No stealing No false testimony No coveting

Luke 10:27-28 --27 He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' " 28 "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

John 14:15 --"If you love me, you will obey what I command.

Psalm 119:98 -- Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. 1 John 5:3 --This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

Romans 6:20-22 -- When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of ? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Deuteronomy 5:29 -- Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!
