Who was Siddhartha Gautama?
Wealthy prince King wanted Siddhartha to be free from the bad in the world so kept him in the palace. Siddhartha grew older and saw the bad anyway He left to find to answer to fix the bad Siddhartha tried many things that helped him question, but the best way Meditation: practice of sitting quietly and clearing the mind of thought Through meditation, Siddhartha found his answers and became, Buddha-the enlightened one

What are the Teachings of Buddha?
To live a peaceful life, then follow the Four Noble Truths: Suffering is a part of life. Everyone Suffers Suffering happens because people think material possessions can make them happy If you stop craving material possessions, then you’ll be happy There are things that will help you stop craving things

What is the Eightfold Path?
The path to achieve a peaceful and happy life Eightfold Path teaches people how to change their speech, thoughts, and behavior to achieve happiness. It also teaches the importance of meditation to ease suffering. Next to these notes: Connect how the eightfold path relates to your life.

Who could reach enlightenment?
Any person can become enlightened. Enlightenment-to achieve a state of reducing or eliminating suffering. Next to these notes: Write 3 questions you may still have about enlightenment.

What is the legacy of Buddha?
Lived to be 80 years old. His followers helped to spread his teachings to other lands. Famous king of India, Ashoka the Great helped spread Buddhism to other parts of Asia Today, millions of people practice Buddhism
