What does the lotus flower symbolise? Task: In your book, draw a lotus flower – including roots, stem and flower. Annotate it: Roots = negative behaviours/values (e.g. greed) Stem = the qualities you need in order to fight/resist them (e.g. self- control) Flower = write in the petals the emotions/feelings you will feel as a consequence of righteous behaviour
