Your binder is important for many reasons. You can use it to find the answers on the final. Being organized makes life easier. Its easy to find missing assignments. Its worth 50 points at the end of the semester. Each binder check is worth 10 points.

Science Survival In this section need: How to organize your science binder A signed copy of the Course syllabus A signed copy of the Lab Safety Contract Homework/Bathroom Passes

Stamps This section will include your Stamp sheet, homework assignments, in class worksheets, and anything that receives a stamp. Each stamp is worth 5 points. If an assignment is worth 10 points, it will receive 2 stamps. Your stamp sheets are very important, they can be worth twice as many points as tests!

Warm Ups Warm ups will be done on a weekly basis to begin class. Almost every question on the warm ups are the same or similar to the test questions, so do the warm ups and use them to study. Warm ups are mandatory, not optional.

Labs This section should contain all of the labs completed in class and/or finished for homework. Even if a lab is finished for homework, it will count as a Lab grade and remain in your Lab section.

Notes This section will contain any notes completed in class. In order to receive a Notebook Check stamp, the student must have notes from each lecture. Click here to print out the notes for FIRST semester and Click here for SECOND semester. Click here
