1. LITHUANIA: OUR SCHOOL AND TOWN WATERHOLIC A DROP OF WATER – A DROP OF HOPE

2. OUT TOWN: NAUJOJI AKMENĖ It is a new town that was established in 1952 and is therefore one of the newest cities in Lithuania. Its located in the northern Lithuania near Latvia's Republic. It is an industrial base with concrete as its main product. As a new town it initially has well-developed infrastructure. It's a small town, with population of nearly 10000 people. Naujoji Akmene is famous with its natural resources and specific environment. Our town has green streets and several ponds.

3. COAT OF ARMS Naujoji Akmene is an industrial town which can be observed from our coat of arms. There is a symbol of our cement plant as in the center you can see a flame of cement plant furnace.

4. CEMENT PLANT The town was established as there were huge limestone layers. The cement plant was built there and that is why we have this town.

8. OUR SCHOOL: RAMUČIŲ GIMNASIUM

9. ABOUT: This year Ramučių gymnasium reached the age of 35. It is quite young school but it has its own history. Our school works in long-term partnership with Lutein Order of Malta, Latvia's schools and German Euregio gymnasium which partnership reached the anniversary of 20 this year. Our students can study three languages here: English is compulsory as a first foreign language; Russian and German can be chosen freely.

10. SOME STATISTICS Our school is a four-year gymnasium. We have 54 teachers and 499 students: 135 first-year graders; 141 second-year graders; 116 a third-year graders; 107 fourth-year graders; We have 243 girls and 256 boys; There are 19 afterschool activity clubs and organizations. Sport and dance clubs. Students' council, Art and photography clubs etc.
