3 Information about Internment Camps Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 17, 1941. The effects of relocating all persons of Japanese ancestry was the Executive Order 9066. President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued the Executive Order 9066. The Japanese people living in Internment Camps were the ones who were affected by Executive Order 9066. The Issei were the first generation of the Japanese people The Nisei were the second generation of the Japanese people. Gila River, Santa Fe, and Pomona were three of the relocation centers for Internment. Japanese American volunteers from the mainland United States and the Hawaiian Islands were the 442 nd Regimental Combat Team

4 The Public Law 100-83 acknowledged the injustice of the Internment. In 1988 the Public Law 100-83 was passed. 111,000 Japanese people were affected by the Executive Order 9066. In 1943 and 1944 the 442nd Regimental cambat team was formed. In February 19,1942 the Executive Order 9066 was issued. United States war Relocation Athority administered Executive Order 9066. President George H.W. Bush apoligized after Public Law 100-83 was passed.
