Our Journey Principal went to 90/90/90 Summit in May 2010 DRT completed a book study: Accountability in Action by Doug Reeves Summer 2010 Lead and Learn Training September 2010 DRT began to train staff in the data team process in October 2010 Building wide writing assessment (3 times a year)

Challenges Teachers found it difficult to… Embed writing in all content areas Make connections with non-fiction and their content areas Teach writing without a specific district-wide writing program Come to consensus on which standard to focus on
