For the Western side of Oregon I would live with my mom in Ontario Oregon the expenses would be very low because, financially my family supports me.

Housing would not be a problem I would live with my parents and they will not charge me rent, or housing bill as long as I am attending college. They want me to pay my college expenses first.

Utilities for me to pay is my cell phone and internet. With my cell phone I would only need to pay the basics minutes and text messages which is in a range to up to 60 dollars. I would next need to pay internet. Internet is necessary for doing homework from school and for entertainment. Internet cost is around forty dollars. In total the cost would be Seventy-five dollars.

For food I would have to eat home to save up on college and not spend on going out to restaurants or fast food places. I would need to buy grocery's to eat at home only. A variety of fruits, vegetables, juice, milk, pasta the basics. To buy a little of everything i would need at least $260.00 dollars.

Transportation, i already have a car and i would only to pay insurance, and gas. Regular trips would be from my house to school which is not that far maximum 2 miles. So in all i would need to pay $425.00.

I love going shopping and especially on clothing so i would defiantly spend around 100 dollars monthly.

Since I do not have health insurance I would have to pay my own which is about sixty dollars in all.

I hardly go out, and for entertainment I usually just rent my movies or go out to eat there is not many places to go out in Ontario. So it is much easier to not spend too much. that is normally at a range of $50 dollars expense.

I usually buy a lot of hair products, or make up products which is very expensive so I would spend around a budget of fifty dollars.

Living with my parents I would not need to buy any miscellaneous except basic things I want like bed sheets, computer desk. window drapes for my room there is really not that much i need to spend on. the amount I would need to spend is very low like fifty dollars.

With a student loan to get an associates degree is about 80 dollars monthly.

My savings rate would be 10 percent making it One hundred and eight dollars monthly.

My monthly expenses would be $1,265.00 and annually i would spend $15,180.00 plus federal expenses would be $2,448.00 plus $1,589.00 so i would need annually a salary of 19,217.00

On the Eastern side of Oregon I would love to live in Portland. Although I know I would struggle because, i would live on my own due to not having the same financial support from my family since I would live far from them.

I would definitely need to get an apartment first if I were to live in Portland. Apartment in Portland is so expensive so i would need $810.00.

my utility bill would be so high. $315.00. I would need to pay my electric bill, heating bill especially because the weather is cold most of the time. Plus i need a cell phone which is around $65.00 and plus internet which is $45 dollars.

Food cost will be very high for me. I would need to have a combo of food from home and restaurants and fast food. Portland offers a variety of food places to go to. Especially Asian food in which I love, I would probably spend $365.00 dollars.

Portland buses that go everywhere in Portland so I would not need a car. Taking the bus would lower my transportation cost monthly to only $100.00.

Portland has clothing stores on every corner so hard for me to ignore and I love updating my closet. Raising my monthly expenses on clothing to 150.00.

Health care would be the same since I do not have health insurance and I would monthly pay $60 dollars.

for entertainment my monthly expense would probably go up to $125.00. Portland has so many choices for entertainment clubs, movie theaters, and much more I would be more likely be going out more often.

For personal care what I would spend monthly would go up as well. In Portland there is nail salons, hair salons and gyms everywhere. I love getting my hair done and my nails as well and since the weather is gloomy outside i would rather workout at the gym. so in total monthly i would need 100 dollars.

My miscellaneous expense will have to go up since I would need to get my own materials for my apartment. Such as cups, plates, sofas a television, kitchen table and i would need a grand total of $250.00 per month. Until i have every necessaryitem.

I would still would need a student loan to get my associates degree. that would be a $80 dollars monthly expense.

For savings i would probably be at a 5% mark which would be $118 dollars monthly.

Living in on the eastern side of Oregon in Portland would be way out of my budget. I would need two jobs and balance school which would be way to hard. Trying to stay on a certain budget would be incredibly hard since there so much to do in Portland. The monthly expense is $2,437.00 and I would need to pay federal taxes and state taxes which is $5,603.00 plus $3,306.00 making a annual salary in need of $38,585.00.

I am more likely to chose to stay home with my parents here in Ontario and go to Treasure Valley Community College. The budget is perfect and I can go to college part time and have a job on the side and do good every month and afford the necessary things and not be struggling like I would in Portland. I would able to save money and have extra to go out.
