Classroom Rule Don’t make a problem for anyone. This includes: The teachers The students Yourself And anyone else you encounter

Tornado and Fire Drills Tornado Drill: We go to the cafeteria Fire Drill: We go out the front door and travel to Davenport. Face the school!

Transitions When you line up: Quiet Hands to yourself Keep a space between you and the person in front of you and behind you

Being a Family What is a family? How could a classroom be like a family? Why should a classroom be like a family?

Adults around the school When you see an adult (Mrs. Goetzinger, Mr. Sturgeon, Mrs. Colasacco, Mrs. Moyer, the lunch ladies, any teacher, parent, etc.): Smile Say, “Hello,” if it’s appropriate Be on your best behavior That’s what this room does

Box Tops and Reading Slips Box Tops: They are on tons of your food items at home! Bring as many as possible! Reading Slips: We have been incredible every year except last year. Bring us back to the top! Respect is essential

Activity License Plates Make a design for your license plate. Use markers or crayons. First name only. They will be in the hall. I will take your picture while you are working on this.
