Some parts of materials can be used if credit is given to the author or creator of the material. This is called Fair Use. However, it is important to remember to give credit where credit is due.

4. Why Cite My Sources? You should give credit to the authors or creators who did all the research and published the information. Plagiarism: Stealing Words - Plagiarism means to steal the ideas, words, or pictures of another person and use them as your own and not give credit to the person who wrote them. Use quotation marks “ ” if you are using someone else’s words. Give their name and where they said it.
