4. clothing  Japanese people wear kimonos which can be green, blue and pink.  The kimonos can come in other colours too. There are other clothes.  kimonos

5. school  The kids at school have to clean their own toilets. They have to clean their class room at lunch or recess. The kids have to clean up after they eat. Their teachers are very strict. When kids go to school they learn calligraphy.

6. food  Japanese people eat a lot of sushi and fish. Take-away is very popular in Tokyo. Japanese people eat a large variety of food. Sushi is made out of sea weed, rice,and vegetables.

7. weather  Japan can be hot and cold at the same time.  Japan has lots of earthquakes.  Volcanos are very common in Japan.

8. Transport  The bullet train is very common in Japan and so are normal trains.  There are not many cars in Japan because the bullet train is so common.

9. festivals  The carp is a symbol for Children's day. Children's day is a festival.  There is a peace day for those who died from the atom bomb.

10. Japan  Japan has 4 main islands.  The 4 main islands are called Honshu, Kyushu, Hokkaido and Shikoku.  Tokyo is the main city in Honshu.  Japan is a very small country and Japan is very big in population.
