▫ Earthquake is a sudden, violent shaking of the ground, sometimes causing great destruction.

Key Features of the Lesson: ▫ Fault lines mean structural defects of the ground. At the time of shaking of the ground, the land sometimes break in some places. These lines of breaks are called fault lines.

Safety measures to be taken to minimize the losses:
