Problems -Firewalls -Resource may not have any visible endpoints -Location Transparency -Resource moves from one location to another -Manager needs to track that -Administrative -Manager’s owner/admin needs to make sure Resources are discovered and visible -Do that for every resource which comes alive -Access to the Manager may be required -Scalability -Manager may need to periodically “look” at all of the Resources it needs to know about
