Common Core/Smarter Balance Common Core The state of Delaware has adopted the Common Core standards that provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn. Standards are across the curriculum in all subject areas. Smarter Balanced State Testing Computer based test in Spring in Reading, Math, and Social Studies Incorporates extended responses, performance tasks, and critical thinking and problem solving skills. Aligns with Common Core.

Grading Policy All Subjects: 50% Class Work 50% Tests Any paper sent home with a number grade was counted in the grade book. Science/Social Studies * 100%/A √ + 90%/B √ 80%/C √ — 70%/D
