Attendance overview Daily attendance is critical to student success. Please refer to Board Policy FEC (Local) for further information. A parent and/or doctor’s note is needed for every absence- turned into the attendance clerk upon student’s return to school. Attendance is taken every class period. After 3 unexcused absences, the campus will send a warning letter; set up a parent/student/administrator conference; an attendance plan will be put in place. The campus will continue to address unexcused absences #4-10. 10 + Unexcused absences will generate a district & court attendance intervention plan. Absentee Work Policy: 1 day for every day missed.
