What is “Self-Esteem?” In psychological terms: it is what you think of yourself. In psychological terms: it is what you think of yourself. E.g.: “I am the hottest thing at LBP.” = high self-esteem. E.g.: “I am the hottest thing at LBP.” = high self-esteem. E.g.: “I suck at math.” = low self- esteem. E.g.: “I suck at math.” = low self- esteem.

How it Generally Changes Pre-school = Very high. Pre-school = Very high. Elementary School = a little lower. Elementary School = a little lower. High School = BIG drop. High School = BIG drop. But the longer students stay at a school, the more their self-esteem increases. But the longer students stay at a school, the more their self-esteem increases. Translation? The more comfortable you are, the better your self-esteem. Translation? The more comfortable you are, the better your self-esteem.

What Changes your Self-Esteem? As you get older or more experienced, your own self-esteem becomes more defined. As you get older or more experienced, your own self-esteem becomes more defined.
