FHWA Audit dated September 2008 Finding #1 –ODOT is following Pipe and Culvert Selection Procedures that meet the final rule for SAFETEA_LU Section 5514. Finding #2 –Design life for all culverts can be increased to 75 years to conform to longer lasting pipe specifications.
