This folder will go home on Friday to be completed and signed over the weekend. If homework is not handed-in on time and/or completed, an IOU is submitted and parents are notified by a stamp in the planner. How can I help my child? Discuss their reading with them as much as possible. Help them learn the basic math facts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division by memory. Encourage independence at home regarding homework. Provide a quiet place for them to do their homework immediately after school. Support a sense of responsibility for their school work, supplies, and behavior.
19
I am thrilled to have your child as one of my third grade students. We are going to have a wonderful year together!
