2. Classroom Norms  We will:  Start and end daily lessons on time.  Respect and actively listen to one another.  Remain open with everyone’s ideas, challenges and feelings.  Share in the responsibilities of the whole.

3. This year in MSM we will be studying:  Number Relationships (whole number, decimal and fraction operations, number forms)  Algebra Patterns & Functions (variables, expressions)  Geometry  Measurement  Statistics (data analysis)  Probability

4. This year in Math Seminar we will be studying 5 units:  Making Healthy Choices  Feeding the Hungry  Fundraising for a Cause  Designing a community pool  Survey Analysis *These units are directly related to content in MSM 1.

5. Homework  Will be assigned most nights.  Late homework will NOT be accepted.  Homework assignments should be completed IN PENCIL in the math spiral or on the worksheet. It will be specified in the students agenda.

6. Other Important Info:  Students can check my wiki for announcements and homework assignments.  Students are to leave their books at home and return them in June*.  Students are to come to class with pencils (at least 2), math spirals, paper and agendas daily! *Due to the Common Core curriculum concepts may not line up to material in the text.
