Green Gold Green and Gold Day If all students remain on green or gold, a poster is placed outside of the room to show the school. Compliment Chart Recorded on a poster. Classes with completed posters receive a prize.

15. Science Our three units this year are: Ecosystems: construct, observe and discuss ecosystems, and the impact of humans on ecosystems. This unit will now be extended over the first 2 quarters with an emphasis on pollution the 2 nd quarter. Rocks & Minerals: properties of minerals, formation of types of rocks, erosion, and scientific investigations. States of Matter: this is a new unit that is replacing Electric Circuits.

18. Parent-Teacher Conferences Please sign up for Parent Teacher Conference Sign your name AND your child’s name in the time slot you would like to meet during fall conferences. The time slot is for 15 minutes. I will send home a reminder note as the time approaches. Thank you and I look forward to meeting with you in November! If you would like to meet with your math teacher, please set up an additional PTC with that teacher.

19. Friday Folders and LS Friday Folders will be sent home on Fridays with important school information. Learning Skills (LS) will be sent home. Please sign and send back the following Monday Please look for this every week and be sure to return it to school on Monday.
