Why use games? promote positive attitudes towards learning foreign language; through games children experiment, discover, and interact with their environment; add variation to a lesson and increase motivation by a providing a plausible incentive to use the target language; help the teacher to create contexts in which language is useful and meaningful; games make the reasons for speaking plausible even to reluctant children. Playing games is a vital and natural part of growing up and learning
