To enable the software to detect patches a number of different items are required. The basic cable, connectors and outlets stay the same but there is a need for different panels in the Cross Connect. Patch cords are also different and then you need analysers to do the detection.

The Analysers are scalable from as few as 48 ports to more or less unlimited in a single patch zone
The new NGA solution has the ability to separate the display from the voltage generating i/o cards so critical rack space can be saved in the patching zone
