Milling is: A machining process where a rotating multi tooth cutter travels along the part in various axis

What we have is: A “Column and Knee” type, most common in tool rooms and school shops. The main casting is the column. The knee is a moveable bracket attached to the column, supporting the table.

Directions of motion The table can move: Left and right (X axis) Forward and Backward (Y axis) Up and Down (Z axis) The head can tilt left, right, forward and back.
