Ultrafiltration System for oily/water separation. Reduced cost from $36,000/yr. to $200/yr. Working with companies on styrofoam & shrinkwrap recycling

ISO Preparation Began Process in April 1997 Phone call to Corporate requesting info. Began reading any material written about ISO 14001 Standard Called the NCDENR Pollution Prevention Division to get on Pilot Project Team Completed the ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Training Course Talked w/HPE ISO 9002 Team for assistance

Current Status of HPE Completed Env. Policy Statement & Approved Policy communicated to employees 5/11/98 Aspects & Impacts Identified, not ranked Operational Control Procedures written, but not fully implemented Have selected 3rd party Registrar Have not merged ISO 9002 with ISO 14001 Procedures as of yet Preassessment done in Dec. 1997
