All communication activities will be closely coordinated with the stakeholders and jointly executed. Therefore, it requires a STRATEGY and a PLAN to implement. It is also important to discuss the development of a communication strategy thoroughly with the related parties, consultant, ERA, CA, EUD and other stakeholders allowing to pool all necessary information about their purposes, goals, ideas, human resources, plans, critiques and suggestions. Flags At events funded by the EU, flags of EU, Turkey, administrating authority or the project should be used together. PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS If specified in the Communication Strategy, promotional materials that are in line with programme topic, target audience and the scope of the project. SPECIFICATIONS Wavy flag and EU support should be visible as much as the size of the promotional materials allow. On materials with small surface, only the Wavy flag should be preferred. If other logos used, the wavy flags should be twice as prominent. On some materials, only the wavy fag and name of the project or programme will be satisfactory. All promotional materials should have a distribution plan. SPECIFICATIONS Wavy flag and EU support should be visible as much as the size of the promotional materials allow. Photographs Photographs showing the progress of all actions should be taken where appropriate to document the progress of actions and events related to these (their launch, visits by EU officials, and so on) so that they can be used in communication material. SUGGESTIONS If the project implementation allows, a professional photographer should be hired. Photographs should focus on the result and the impact of the action. Photographs used in communication materials should support the information give. Photographs should focus on end beneficiaries rather than implementing authorities as much as possible. As a general rule, digital photography is suggested. This allow easy archiving and usage on electronic communication tools.
