1  PERSECUTION – Being punished for what you believe in,  DISCRIMINATION – Treating someone unfairly on the basis of race, colour or religion etc  SCAPEGOATING – Blaming certain groups for everyone else’s problem.

2 Jews were forced to wear the Star of David to show that they were Jewish.

3 Black people were not allowed to go to certain places.

4 The Nazi’s boycotted Jewish shops as they blamed Jews for having better businesses than themselves.

5 In Birmingham, Alabama, White policemen with police dogs attacked black people as they protested peacefully.

6 In China, Christians were forced to have church services underground (in secret), as religion was banned from the country.

7 People in Britain protest about immigrants in the UK. They blame immigrants for taking their jobs and homes.
