Home Page Normally a default home page is set up You can change it to anything you want Navigate to the page you want to be “home” Click on the down-arrow to the right of the “Home” icon (or press Ctrl-M) Click on “Add or Change Home Page” Chose whether you want one or more home pages Click “Yes” to save your changes

Clickable Fields How do you tell what you can click on? If the pointer changes to a pointing hand, the item is “clickable” Note the new address on the bottom line of the Explorer window.

E-mail programs Two fundamental types of e-mail program: 1. “Resident” – programs that reside on your hard drive Mail is downloaded to your computer whenever you connect. 2. “Web-based” – ones that reside on a remote server All your mail stays on the remote server
