1. Once upon a time...

2. Once upon a time, long, long ago, in a country far away, there lived three tiny elves. The elves were called Cherry, Peaches and Mango and they lived in the tiny village of Elfabonka, deep in the dark forest. At the edge of the village was an old, crumbling castle where there lived a wicked witch. She was called Gobell and she was hundreds of years old.

4. One day the elves went to explore the castle. They didn’t know that a wicked witch lived there. There were a lot of spider webs, bugs and disgusting bats inside. There were a lot of lanterns on the walls with the flames flickering in the breeze, but the place was gloomy and scary. There were a few windows with ugly worn curtains. Suddenly there was a nasty laughter and they could hear squeaking steps approaching them. The elves got scared of the sounds and tried to run away, but they didn’t find the way out. One day the elves went to explore the castle. They didn’t know that a wicked witch lived there. There were a lot of spider webs, bugs and disgusting bats inside. 6. Suddenly Cherry saw a dark figure. They searched for an exit and saw an old tower clock. So the elves hid behind it. The witch came slowly down the stairs. Mango giggled and said: "See how she looks!" Peaches, Mango and Cherry laughed as they looked at the witch. The witch heard some faint giggling and looked around but couldn't see anyone. Mango saw a black cat. Suddenly the cat became startled and jumped, with one leap, right into the face of the witch. The witch screamed and the elves were able to escape.

8. They passed through the dark forest, hoping to regain their native village. But the forest was so dark they were lost. Then they saw the Black Cat who had followed them. It told them he had magical powers. To begin his powers, he had to sing while passing under an arch. That’s when the trees of the forest intermingled to form the arch. The cat went through the first arch and the three elves followed.They joined in the village hero « Elfesdingues ». The Black Cat, amazed by all these weird elves, played her magic and turned in all wise. Since that day, the village is called Elfesages, and there they grow three trees, a cherry, a peach and a mango tree, that have the power to ward off witches…
