3 E-publishing Task Group Goals: Collect information on e-publishing models and practices. Advise SUNY/OLIS on e-publishing trends. Work toward policy recommendations related to online content including open access material. Communicate with stakeholders re: best practices in e-publishing, content creation, digital rights management, etc.

7 E-Pub Task Group Recommendations: 1. Quickly moving, evolving landscape- support model like Flatworld Knowledge, but not exclusively 3. Encourage sharing best practices from pilots 4. Building community of practice through SUNY Learning Commons Support Open Access Week –October 22-28, 2012
