Our Priorities and Partnerships 2020 Initiative- committed to working with state partners to safely reduce the numbers of children in out of home care- the right service for the right families in the right place and the right amount Collaborating with 35 states as part of this effort Addressing the issue of Disproportionality as part of that safe reduction strategy

4. History of Florida Partnership Been involved for two years Agreement with former Secretary Bob Butterworth- Alachua and Duval counties (Jacksonville and Gainesville)-N.E. FLA CFP Resources include around $450,000 per year supporting staffing and the development of a neighborhood family center Extensive technical assistance and consultation Priorities include the reduction of entries into foster care in those counties

5. History of Florida Partnership Subsequent involvement with the state on their involvement with the N.G.A. Policy Academy-working with state leadership on selected projects Partnerships in other sites in the state and with Legal Services Currently we are working closely with the state leadership- Secretary George Sheldon
