2. People are buying tickets to games. People are buying merchandise. If people are coming to see someone play, then they should get at least a little money. The coaches and administrators get big bucks, the players should too. A Piece of the Pie

3. As far as the players are concerned, the sport is their job. The players spend all their time at practice and have no time to get a job. (that is if they could find one that is willing to work with their schedule) No job, No money. Not everyone has as many luxuries as others, for some people the only way they are in collage is through a scholarship. No Money, No Time…

4. Paying the athletes will take away from school funding. Some schools might not have as much money as others. Its not fair to the other clubs who will lose that money to sports. Who gets paid what? Does the third-string linebacker get the same as the star quarterback? Rebuttal
