Sanctity of Life Definition
Life is sacred (God-given) and should be protected at every stage – from conception to natural death. “no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being."[Catechism Catholic Church; 56] If someone doesn’t believe in sanctity of life, on what basis could you argue with them that everyone has a right to life at every stage? Is there such a basis ?

BJC(Bible quotes, Jesus life, Church teaching
Gen. 1:27 “God created man in his own image”(what does this say about the value of human beings?) 1 Ex 20:13: “Thou shalt not kill” Romans 14: 8: “If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” 1 Cor 6:19: Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God. You are not your own property: you belong to God.” Jesus: the Son of God was willing to die for us. This shows how important our lives are to Him, and how holy to God Teaching of the Church: Every person is desired by God, to grow to be like His Son. This might mean suffering, like Jesus did, and has the same importance. Suffering is not a valid reason to end a life. All Christian churches believe this: protestants (anglican, methodist etc), catholic, orthodox
