Monday, August 31: I will: meet more of my classmates so that I can work cooperatively (sit in different groups) label and turn in all required school supplies so I can be prepared and organized for class review and demonstrate mastery of literary reading genres so that I can be exposed to a variety of types of things to read learn more about how to choose a “just right” book so that I can pick things that I like to read on my level read my choice book independently so that I increase my stamina

EVERYTHING IS DUE! All supplies that are kept in the classroom: Sticky notes, index cards, and map pencils are shared You need your own folder with pockets and brads, a spiral, and a composition book with your first and last names and periods written on them all with a SHARPIE! All orange SIGNED ELA forms are due! Dear teacher(s) letter AND reading inventory should have BOTH already been turned in for a grade (2)
