At times would additional subcommittee work have enhanced the efforts. Exa: prepping the entering middle school students. Engage us to assist. Cause us to volunteer to speak to kids/etc. First meeting next year would be great for goal setting for the Board. Great first year! I also encourage assignments for the Board between meetings to keep the momentum. I enjoyed the work on the board- I love LTHS I really enjoyed being a part of this committee and look forward to next year (and beyond). It is a complement to the group that things have happened rapidly and the students have seen real world projects/speakers. It is refreshing to see engaged educated students. Now that most of us know about the program, I'd like to see more breakout sessions and discussion. Subcommittees would be useful Suggestions: Hear from kids in the program (classes)-likes, needs We did more listening than talking it seemed most of the time. Now is the time
