6 RegisterASA.com Packages 52,105 Batches of registration cards 18,825 Background check card packages 24,700 ACE packages 95,630 Total card packages  Returned Cards – Starting in late May, 222 packages (0.2% of all) were returned to us. 80% of those were BG card packages. The rest were equally divided between ACE and registration cards.  The most common reasons for returns was that they were: ○ Not deliverable as addressed ○ Attempted delivery but the individual was not known ○ Forward time had expired ○ No mail receptacle  We finished the season with only 15 packages still waiting to be re-sent to a valid address. 8 Find Profile  You can find your profile or create a new profile here. Find your profile here. You must know your member ID. Create profile here Applies to: All users

9 Find Profile  Fill in the left side of the page  Then click the verify button to get to your username and password. Applies to: All users

10 Find Profile  This page will provide the username for your profile, feel free to change it.  Then enter a password you want to use. Passwords must be at least 7 characters. Applies to: All users

11 Find Profile  Once they’ve saved the username and password they will return to the login screen where they can now login.  Tip: Tell your members to keep an old registration, ACE or background check card to help them find their member number. They can also contact you to get that number.  Encourage them to stop CREATING NEW PROFILES every year!!! Applies to: All users

12 Home Plate Changes  For the average user there are only minor changes for 2012 on the home plate.  The registration menu has been highlighted.  The teams grid now has a corresponding league grid for members that are league admins. Applies to: Average Users

13 Home Plate – Navigation Pane  We have a new Navigation Pane that is available to your local association staff.  Commissioner level users will have it by default.  For other users it requires some setting changes to make it visible. Discuss this setting with Nancy or Lori to revise your settings. Applies to: Users with Navigation Pane rights All Users Commish Only Meet with Nancy or Lori to identify others who should see the Navigation Pane.

14 Home Plate – My Teams/Leagues  Our users are aware that at the bottom of their home plate they see their teams.  Remind your users to look for the season so they can move their 2011 team to the 2012 season.  We’ve added a button that will toggle between teams and leagues. Applies to: Users with Navigation Pane rights

15 Teams Changes  We have a new feature showing the player count by association. See the associations where your players are from. Keep this balanced or you’ll have to register somewhere else… Hover your mouse here Applies to: All users

16 Teams Changes  We have two new links providing the background check consent forms to admins from the team or league page. Consent document links Applies to: All users

17 Add Member to a team or league  You can add members to your team or league by entering the member ID and birth date. This information is on rosters and all cards printed by our staff.  Or you can add members as you always have. Applies to: All users

18 Add Member  This is how the screen changes when you’ve clicked submit. Applies to: All users

19 Profile Changes  Layout Changes should allow you to print most of a profile on a single page.  New History Tab on most profile pages. Applies to: All users

20 Member History  You’ve just seen the history tab on the member profile.  You can also get it on the team page in the member grid. Click the plus sign to see the history. Applies to: All users

22 Invoice Previews…  Starting in 2012…Invoice previews are available for teams. On the team page this button replaces the submit and create invoice button Applies to: All users

23 Invoice Preview Notice the new tab. You’re still on the team page. Notice the invoice detail only includes members without an invoice. Click the Create Invoice button if the invoice is correct. Applies to: All users If a correction is needed we have a link to provide suggestions.

24 Invoice Problems Applies to: All users  Some of our invoice error messages are too generic to identify which member is a problem when you try to create an invoice. Players on other championship rosters One of the players is in an association where they limit their players to only one league or team.  We have a solution for you. It only appears when you have a conflict with other teams or leagues. Sample Error

25 Invoice Problems Applies to: All users  You will see a new tab called Possible Conflicts.  This sample is a team trying to upgrade to a championship roster.

27 Other League Changes  Upload spreadsheet now includes Member ID. Member IDs are not required data but we recommend you provide it when possible.  Last year’s league data can be extracted to create a new league spreadsheet including the members IDs. This feature is only available to league admins if you do not release your league admins. Applies to: All users

28 League Extract Process  After you click the Registration Extract button you will be brought to a new page similar to the one below  Select the members you want to extract.  Click the Create Registration File button. Applies to: League Admins and Assoc Staff

32 Background Checks  Background check cards have been a packaging nightmare for our office and your members!  During the winter of 2010 our management was asked to find a better way to handle background checks where every member with a clear background check could prove they had passed an ASA approved background check.

33 The problem  JO Championship play requires that everyone participating as an adult non-player in the dugout or on the field must be background checked.  Some associations want everyone background checked.  Other associations want all their members ACE certified and background checked.  Credit card payments, invoicing, onsite clinics…  The list goes on and on.  We think we’ve found a solution!

34 Registration Bundles  For the JO Program most associations fall into one of these categories 1. Non-player registration is only permitted with an ACE certification. 2. Non-player registration is only permitted with a background check. 3. Registrations are not linked to background checks and ACE.  If your association falls into category 1 or 2 we recommend you consider signing up for Bundlease. Applies to: Association Setup Options

35 Bundlease If I sign up how does this affect my association and it’s members?  Background Checks will be bundled with registration fees so there will be less cards and lower costs.  Every adult JO registration card for your association will show that the member has also cleared an ASA background check. Applies to: Association Setup Options If you are considering Bundlease please collect a gold Bundlease card from the podium and review it with one of our RegisterASA support staff.
