Agriculture in Poland has always been an important part of the country's economy.

In agriculture are employed 1,820,000 people. Most employees are male. Modern machines replace human work which is the reason for the decline in employment in agriculture. Despite this fact, in Poland, agriculture continues to enjoy great success - especially in the villages. Farmers for the purchase of modern machinery often get subsides from the European Union.

Poland produces ecological and flavorful food offered at competitive prices. Polish agricultural goods have a very good reputation in Europe. They are considered healthy, organically grown and as having high nutritional values.
