7 Policies for Military Transfer Credit  Does your college or university have a formal policy?  Determine who will evaluate the JST  Determine a uniform process  Address credit for both training and occupation  Involve the veteran in the review process

8 Communicating Review Decisions  Record transfer credit in transfer database  If academic programs have specific acceptance policies, make sure the information is available  When possible, note reasons for denied transfer credit for records  Eliminates duplication of credit review  Provides veteran with rationale for denied transfer credit
