Grant Funding 2009-2010 Two Grants: 1.Career and Technical Education – $10,000 Increase the quality and rigor of secondary career and technical education, Improve links to postsecondary education, encourage and facilitate academic instruction through career and technical courses, and Expand access to and awareness of the opportunities offered by high quality career and technical education. 2.Course Equivalency Grant - $3,000 To provide more fully the academic and career and technical skills of secondary education students and post secondary students who elect to enroll in career and technical education programs.

6. FFA Part of the C.T.E. Grant is to explore and visit successful FFA programs in Eastern Washington. Develop a plan to create a successful FFA program that is competitive and provides for the needs of students and the community Develop a way for the program to be self- supporting. Develop the Leadership aspect of FFA into every course.
