3 ADİDAS Adi Dassler - the man who gave adidas its name

4 ADİDAS Adolf Dassler was inspired by an idea when he made his first shoes in 1920, at the age of just 20. His vision was to provide every athlete with the best shoes for his respective discipline. It was this principle that guided him right up until his death in 1978. 700 patents and other industrial property rights worldwide are proof of his permanent quest for perfection.

6 ADİDAS Adi Dassler hires 2 shoemarkers and produces his first handmade training shoes. The story begins in his mother’s washroom with no electricity and no machinery. He very soon begins to create different shoes for different sports.

8 ADİDAS In 1924, Adolf’s brother Rudolf Dassler joined the business and found Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory and did well—selling pairs of shoes each year. In 1948 they split up. The company formally registered as adidas AG on 18 August

10 ADİDAS One of the main products of Adidas is football equipments.
Adidas remains a major company in the supplying team equipments for international football teams. Current examples include France, Germany, Romania, Argentina, Spain, etc. The company has been an innovator in the area of shoes for the sport with important examples including development of the Copa Mondial boot used for matches on firm dry pitches for almost forty years.

11 ADİDAS Adidas currently produces several running shoes among others.
In addition, their performance apparel is widely used by runners. Adidas also uses kangaroo leather to make their more expensive shoes

12 ADIDAS The company also has products for other sports. Such as cricet, tennis, golf, basketball etc.

13 ADİDAS The company’s goal as a Group is to lead the sporting goods industry with brands built on a passion for sports and a sporting lifestyle. they continuously try to generate consumer excitement and increase brand earning by performing a clear strategy. In everything they do, they are focused on developing their brands to maximize the Group’s operational and financial performance.
