The Howard University Institutional Bio- Safety Committee TASKS  Maintaining compliance when it comes to the use and disposal of hazardous material.  Reviewing and approving protocols prescribing the use of biohazardous, radioactive, and recombinant DNA material in animals.  Providing annual training sessions for researchers who require the use of biohazardous, radioactive, and recombinant DNA material for research.
