Works Cited Source Format Correction Exercise: Round-Robin Style 3 rd : 33 4 th : 28 1.Organize in groups of 4 (groups should be relatively even) 2.Place Works Cited Notes on your desk 3.Assign a Scribe (person who writes most legibly) 4.With whole-group input, Scribe will correctly-rewrite the two provided quiz entries on a draft sheet 5.Show me your draft 6.I’ll give you a card. a. Name your group (must include a Thanksgiving reference) b. Write each person’s name on card c. transfer corrected entries on to provided card

If you are not able to create a link for your Literary Work(s), follow these procedures: 1.Provide a link to Pearsonsuccessnet.com (which can be copy & pasted from my Blog). 2.Provide the Author’s Name, Title of Literary Work, page numbers.

Claim/Evidence Requirements Intro. ¶: attention-grabber (INTERESTING FACT/STAT., anecdote, INTERESTING quote) Basic 2-3 sent. background summary of the topic Central assertion/thesis/claim that you are PROVING in your essay Body ¶: Transitional word or phrase Topic sentence Lead in for Evidence (in the form of a Quote or Passage or another form of Concrete Detail Commentary about the provided evidence Concluding ¶: A general statement that explains how your central Claim/Argument/Thesis is resolved *Cited Sources (…….) *Included Vocabulary Words from Units 4-6
