2007-08 Annual Goal: Reading Increase the percentage of students who are proficient (score above the 40 th NPR) on the ITBS/ITED reading comprehension test in at least five of the seven grade levels (3-8 and 11 th grade).

Actions to Achieve Goals Utilize Professional Learning Communities to improve the teaching/learning process. Implement new elementary reading program. Provide professional development courses and seminars to examine and implement research-based best practices. Provide research-based remedial programs
