Marine Geography & Climate Location; Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, and Arctic. Description; Salty, Vast Three Vertical layers largest of all biomes

Marine Biodiversity These are some examples; Animals: fish, worms, mollusk, clams, predatory crustaceans, crabs, shore birds, whales, bacteria, fungi, anemones, octopi, micro-organisms, invertebrates, coral, dolphins, plankton, and oysters. Plants: sea weed, algae, kelp, phytoplankton, mangrove trees.

Marine Adaptations Needed for Survival Plants; Plants give off oxygen under water too, basically the turn gasses into oxygen. Fins let fish swim and their gills help them breath.

Marine Interactions of Biotic and Abiotic The plants supplies oxygen for phytoplankton. Without it the plankton couldn’t breath.

What is Biodiversity? Biodiversity is the variety of life. It includes all living factors. It can be supplied on many levels. Most people recognize biodiversity by species.

How does biodiversity contribute to the sustainability of an ecosystem? Biodiversity supplies food sources. It the health of all ecosystems. It helps as medications. It helps save lives everyday.
