7 1.1 New Installation (Continue) PLUSForms Can only be installed from Administrative mode into the folder c:/program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00 If use INSTALL.EXE

8 1.2 Upgrade from ver. 5.00+ PLUSForms a. Backup old Data b. Uninstall old version c. Install new version 6.06

9 1.2 Upgrade from ver. 5.00+ PLUSForms a. Backup old Data i. Manually backup Copy all EFD files from the folder c:/program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00/Current into the folder c:/program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00/Old

10 1.2 Upgrade from ver. 5.00+ PLUSForms a. Backup old Data (Continue) ii. Backup from Windows Click Start then Programs (left bottom) Choose Backup from FormsPLUS 6.06 Click Backup from new window Then answer “yes” to start backup

23 c. enter detail data for project PLUSForms (Continue) ii. Enter Caltrans District Information by choosing district number Double check the information and change it when necessary

33 PLUSForms Click “Home” first Then click “Import & Export”

34 PLUSForms Click “Save” All data will be saved into folder “Project DATA” under “c:/Program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00/”

35 7.2 Copy Data PLUSForms Copy all files from folder c:/Program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00/Project Data From one PC into the same folder in another PC

36 7.3 Modify Data PLUSForms Send all project data in the folder c:/Program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00/Project Data To FormsPLUS@dot.ca.gov For modification/separation

37 4. Import Data PLUSForms Go to layout “Import & Export”

38 PLUSForms Click “Import” All data will be imported from folder “Project DATA” under “c:/Program Files/Caltrans/FormsPLUS 5.00/” or Install (delete original data)
