2. About LRHIP Grant program – No Federal Aid Requirements
Available to cities under 5,000 in population, counties with road and bridge departments, and highway districts.
Matching funds are encouraged but not required.
Four type of projects
Construction (including Federal-aid Match) – 75%
Transportation Plans – 15%
Signs – 10%

LHTAC Crash Data Analysis
Notify12 jurisdictions with most amount of K+A crashes by District
LHJ to identify trends or clusters of crashes
LHJ determines countermeasures and costs, fills out application
LHTAC ranks projects on Benefit-Cost Ratio
Provide LHTAC Council with prioritized list of projects based on Benefit-Cost Ratio
Projects sent to ITD
