Mindful Teachers- Meaningful Lessons Hye.Yeon Lim Ph.D. We discussed on how meaningful lessons can be created. Some strategies were given to us on how to apply meaningful lessons in our classrooms. For example Hye-Yeon Lim was telling us that Yoga is a good way to be mindful. The definition that she gave us about mindfulness was: paying attention in a particular way or purpose, in the PRESENT moment and nonjudgmentally. We discussed on how meaningful lessons can be created. Some strategies were given to us on how to apply meaningful lessons in our classrooms. We need to focus on the PRESENT because as Founder of the stress Reduction Clinic Dr. Jon Kabat-Zing said, There is no control of what happened or will happen. So we need to be aware of the present. He also invites us to not judge others, because we are all different and have different lives. How to Practice Correctly Meaningful outcome both students and teacher need to know when a task has been accomplished and have some way to determine whether it is successful or not.
