American Revolution Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death: Revolutionary Ideas in Revolutionary Literature. This unit focuses on the nonfiction literature and poetry of the American Revolutionary period with particular emphasis on persuasive techniques used in the letters, pamphlets, and speeches of the period.

American Revolution Unit two offers various selections from the later colonial writers. The time period distinguishes itself simply because the citizens demanded it. This is a movement from the strict religious to the ability to question and reason with truths. A selection of writings come from the Founding Fathers and Thomas Paine.
